8/18/10 GREEN AUDIT USA SELECTED TO PERFORM FREE HOME ENERGY GREEN AUDIT
EBC is pleased to announce that effective immediately, all residential solar contracts will include a free Home Energy
Green Audit. After careful consideration and research, Energy by Choice has selected Green Audit USA to perform this service for our customers. Green Audit USA was founded by Jay Best who is a veteran environmental scientist and engineer. But for the last couple of years he has dedicated himself to improving the home environment and energy efficiency of residential customers. Jay earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from MIT and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Jay holds several BPI Certifications (including Building Analyst, Envelope Specialist and Heating Specialist) and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He is also a member of the Town of Huntington Renewable Energy Task Force and an active participant in the USGBCs LI Chapter LEED for Homes Committee.
