How it Works
Solar Electric, or Solar PV, uses Photovoltaic (PV) panels that generate electric power to replace most or all of the electric power you purchase from LIPA. When your building isn’t consuming all the power the panels can produce, the surplus power is provided to LIPA and credited to your account.
